AUTHOR REGISTRATION POLICY:

At least one author of an accepted paper must register at the AUTHOR rate (IEEE ComSoc Member, IEEE Member, or Non Member rates) even if the author is a student. One registration is valid for one person. For authors presenting multiple papers, however, it can cover up to three (3) papers on which the person who is registered is an author or co-author.

OVERLENGTH PAGE CHARGES:

Authors with over-length papers (e.g., 7th page for long papers and 3rd page for short papers – US$100 over-length charge) must pay for these extra pages at EDAS.

PLEASE NOTE:

To be published in the IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC 2021) Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the AUTHOR (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the 2021 IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference (CCNC) Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore® as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

I am a student author of an accepted symposium paper at IEEE CCNC 2021. I wonder which type of registration should I purchase that should be qualified to both have the paper successfully published and attend the conference virtually to present the paper.
As per IEEE ComSoc policy, each accepted paper shall have a Presenting Author Registration (member or non-member) non-refundable registration fee associated with it. If an author has multiple accepted papers, up to three papers may be covered by one registration fee. Registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the publication-ready version of the accepted paper.

An author (lead author or a co-author) of each accepted paper is required to register for the event at a regular member (e.g., not a discounted Student, Life, etc. rate) or non- member fee.

ComSoc Student Member *First 100 ONLY*
The first 100 ComSoc Student Members that sign up will be able to get their fee waived.

*As per ComSoc policy, each accepted paper shall have a Presenting Author Registration (member or non-member) non-refundable registration fee associated with it. There is an item called "Paper Over Length Charge". Is this the fee to pay if the paper has 7 pages instead of 6? (I need to know because my paper is 7 pages)
Yes, this is the fee you pay if your paper is over 6 pages.
